Rescue efforts have commenced, in search of a 21-yr-old Auckland nurse, Kim Bambus. She was last seen on Friday morning, before she went for a run at Mercer Bay loop track. When she didn’t return home that evening, her friends notified the authorities.
In the past, a handful of people have also gone missing and lost their lives near this area.The police state there are several possibilities which could have contributed to Bambus’ going missing. Mercer Bay loop is a remote place so it is most likely that nobody spotted Bambus along the track.
In entertainment news, Adele finished her 13 month, 119-stop world after performing at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium for a crowd of 40, 000 on Sunday night. Her recent, sold-out concert in Auckland was met with glowing reviews and elated fans. However, Adele has confessed that because of stage fright, she may not be touring again.
A plane crash in Peru miraculously did not cause any deaths or significant injuries. All 141 passengers of the Peruvian Airlines Boeing 737 successfully escaped. Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze at the back of the aircraft.
Meanwhile, over in the U.S, President Trump has signed an executive order which flags for review several measures curbing climate change.
“With today’s executive action, I am taking historic steps to lift the restrictions on American energy, to reverse government intrusion and to cancel job-killing regulations,” Trump said.
